Liberation Monument

The Liberation monument marks the freedom of Kuwait from its Iraqi colonial powers. It the highest tower in the world and is among the most important Kuwait attractions.

The liberation monument is the world's largest telecommunication tower. The liberation monument is the symbol of nationalism in Kuwait and was inaugurated in the year 1996, March 10. HH Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah inaugurated world's largest tower of telecommunications. The tower is located in the city of Kuwait. Three natural shades of light shape the tower geometrically.

There are 18 elevators, each of which have the capacity of 21 passengers. There are three working areas in the tower: a center for public communications, a rotating mezzanine with a restaurant situated at a height of 150 meters and a plant with equipment structures. There are six floors in the rotating mezzanine and they are designed with anodized aluminum to bear the extreme temperature of the gulf country.
